Tennis is a very popular game throughout the whole world. Players were geared up their best racket to impress the audience. Just like this diamond-studded tennis racket used by a 17-year-old American tennis sensation Asia Muhammad during the 2008 US Open international tennis tournament.


The customized diamond-studded tennis racket was designed by local jeweler Michael E. Minden, owner of Michael E. Minden Diamond Jewelers. The racket is encrusted with 1.00 ctw of VS quality pave set diamonds in two letter A’s above her grip. The diamonds’ are F-G in color and each diamond initial weights .50 carats. Each letter retails for US$1,750 and includes installation.


Muhammad is a product of tennis legend Andre Agassi’s Las Vegas Academy, and has consistently been ranked in the top 10 throughout her junior career.via

Athina Onassis, the heiress once hailed as ‘the richest little girl in the world’, is on a move to auction off her millions of pounds of jewelry that she inherited from her mother Christina. The fortune worth is amounted at £1 billion but her call for auction is the result of her decision that she has no need of what she sees as the glittering paraphernalia of a departed era. The jewelry collection up for auction is anticipated to generate £8 million on 11 June at Christie's.


The exhibited collection include a pear-shaped 38-carat diamond estimated at up to £2.2 million, a ruby and diamond necklace by Van Cleef and Arpels expected to fetch £40,000, a rare Buddha by Carl Faberg that was positioned on Onassis's yacht likely to generate £250,000 to £350,000 plus a 14.79 carat diamond ring by Harry Winston worthy to realize £500,000-£700,000.via
